As we all progress out of this crisis it is important to adapt and change the ways we used to do things from our strategy to communication. Here are three tips to help…
Strategy
We believe strategy comes first so here are some questions to think through for your organization.
- How has the need of your clients/customers changed? What new pain points might they have?
- Have their budgets changed?
- How may you need to change the problem you solve for your clients/customers?
Here’s a Tip: Run a campaign that clearly states how you are now helping your customer.
Communication
Communication is very important. We continue to stress to our clients to over-communicate now more than ever.
If you will continue to virtually connect with your clients/customers make sure you are giving them an experience and are personal and professional like an in-person service.
Here’s a Tip: Stay in contact with your clients/customers – email them and call them. Let them know you are here and you care. Communicate as human-to-human — not organization-to-client/customer.
Your Team
We are already seeing organizations changing the way they operate as they come out of this crisis. How might your organization and team need to adapt?
With everyone working remotely, organizations are getting used to it. What changes might your organization need to incorporate to allow for more virtual work?
But as your team works virtually make sure you are thinking about your organization’s culture, community, and collaboration.
Here’s a Tip. Have daily check-in with your team also make time for team building.
Working through and coming out of this crisis can almost seem unreal due to the magnitude of impact it has had on the world, but we will get through it and come out stronger together. As we progress, it is important to adapt and change — and know that we are here, we do care, and we want to see your organization thrive!
